The title Seat is close to a homonym for ‘seed,’ which formally elements of the piece resemble. A homophone of Seat is also the contraction of the infinitive “see it,” which is deliberately  challenging due to the lack of color in the piece and the nearly indistinct lines between the objects to delineate edges. Also, a seat is the crux of generative/reproductive activity, and, of course, whereby which eggs such as these pieces resemble come.
